He actually told me this story about what happened to him. Here it goes. He was sitting in the bar hitting on a woman for over a half an hour. He got the urge to sneeze, turned to sneeze and shot his Fake Tooth out across the bar. He said he didn’t know what to do. He covered his mouth and continued to talk only to start slurring and whistling. Needless to say he still got her that night. That is what he said!!!

Usually at any public course you will see a lot. At the country clubs not as much but some. But can you guess what it is really costing? It’s not money. Time. How much time does it take when a person has to fix two or three ball marks before even putting. Come on people! I would like to play on a green that does not look like a golf ball. I played at a local course last week and the ball marks looked like connect the dots and spelled out the word Dumb. There are the people like me that fix every single one they see. Taking the extra time while the group behind me curses me. But that’s fine. They are hitting into a flat green.

Ok, is there a person you know out there that does not take a joke well? Does not like you messing with him, joking around with them, taking the game Way to seriously? Look, your out there to have fun. There are no cameras no crowds and no money at stake. Just enjoy the game and the people your playing with. The son told me on the 8th hole that his father was not going to be around much longer and he wants to spend as much time with him as he can. I heard that and that is why I am writing today. I lost my father and wish I could have done more.

Thanks for stepping “On the Green” w/Mr. Tall Tee. The 2010 golf season is underway and Golfing Richmond is looking forward to another great year with the local courses and players.
